A raft of Hollywood superstars will be joining Soccer Aid 2012’s star-studded line up at Old Trafford’s hallowed turf to help raise money for UNICEF, the world’s leading children’s organisation, at the end of May.
Major international stars representing the Rest of the World squad for the very first time include US comic actor/ producer Will Ferrell (Anchorman, SNL and the forthcoming comedy film ‘Casa De Mi Padre’ which is a Spanish-language comedy opening in June in the UK) and Scottish actor Gerard Butler (300, Rocknrolla)

Michael Sheen and Michael Sheen have reportedly signed up to guest star in ‘Doctor Who’.
The ‘Tron: Legacy’ actor – who has portrayed the likes of former Prime Minister Tony Blair and journalist David Frost throughout his lengthy Hollywood career – has been confirmed by BBC sources as having agreed to appear in one episode of the new series of the hit BBC show.
While no further details of Sheen’s role or character have yet been revealed, ‘Doctor Who’ writer Neil Gaiman – who penned the episode Michael is set to appear in – confirmed his appearance.

Welsh movie star Michael Sheen (The Queen, Twilight: New Moon, Alice in Wonderland) is to captain the star-studded side which has recently signed up record-breaking solo artist and Boyzone member Ronan Keating, TV presenter Gethin Jones, former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, undefeated boxing champion Joe Calzaghe and actor James Kyson-Lee, who plays Ando inHeroes.
