Well, many of the cast and crew believe so, and what’s more, they believe this ghostly presence has “cursed” both cast and crew could well account for some of the tragedies and accidents that have befallen Corrie insiders of late.

Some cast and crew members also claim to have seen the ghost of legendary Corrie actress Pat Phoenix while others say they’ve seen an apparition with “long dark hair who wears a long coat.”

Well, last night was the second of a total of seven evenings of Most Haunted live shows and this time, they were on the search for apparitions at the Empire Theatre which is claimed to be home to several scary ghosties. Now unless I’m missing something, aren’t they always looking for apparitions? Is this something new?? No, thought not.

Among the spirits they hoped to encounter were a young girl who apparently materialises as a solid form where she fell to her death, an old man who haunts the snug area of the bar – well there’s always one isn’t there? – and menacing, sinister shapes that are said to materialise on the stage… Read more & comment »

Around the world and in every walk of life, it seems the number seven has a powerful significance. This sacred figure has a special place in many religions, and this week it lends its distinctive pattern to the latest project to be undertaken by the Most Haunted team, who will be travelling to the north-west of England to perform a paranormal investigation the like of which has never been broadcast before.

Fans of Most Haunted will doubtless have been watching at least bits of the show’s unprecedented seven nights of four hour broadcasts this week from Denbigh. Well, the question we’re asking is this; is Most Haunted the Most Faked show on TV or are the ‘paranormal events’ literally that? What do you think?

I personally believe it is almost entirely faked and if something genuinely paranormal happens, it’s entirely by accident!

As both a cynic and an ex-paranormal researcher, I have to say that I believe the show has many levels, but none of them are genuinely to do with the serious investigation of the paranormal. As far as I’m concerned, it’s primarily entertainment and can’t in all honesty be considered a ‘real’ and scientific approach to true paranormal research, so on the one hand, the fact that it is an entertaining and fun show is good enough. Does it really need to be real?

New series. New mediums. New locations.

Most Haunted is back with a brand new series investigating infamously haunted locations all over the UK. The Most Haunted team led by presenter Yvette Fielding and her cameraman husband Karl Beattie, now features respected mediums Johnnie Fiori, Brian Shepherd and Barrie John, exploring eerie locations every Tuesday at 9pm from February 19th.

During the run of the 10th series, the 25th Most Haunted Live (end of March) takes a trip to Turin – city of the devil – in a spectacular 5 night live event.

Earlier this year, The Travel Channel in the US invited the Most Haunted team – led by presenter Yvette Fielding and psychic David Wells – over the pond to take their paranormal investigation to The Eastern State Penitentiary, a former state prison in Pennsylvania built in the 1820’s-30’s.

Armed with night-vision cameras and thermal-imaging devices, the Most Haunted team performs a thorough investigation of the location and attempt communication with the paranormal.ry reported mysterious visions and eerie experiences in the ancient prison. The ghost sightings have only increased since Eastern State was abandoned in 1971.

Light those pumpkins and don those witches’ hats, LIVING’s notorious Most Haunted Live is back, airing over 5 haunting nights for the first time ever in an ambitious Halloween spectacular covering hundreds of miles across the North West of England and North Wales.

George (AKA Hannibal Smith), passed away from pneumonia in 1994.

Presenter Yvette Fielding says, “We’re all going to Los Angeles for a week to film it. It took a lot of doing to get those three together – now we have to do the really hard part.”
