The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has also compiled a ‘One Planet Playlist’ of green songs for the campaign day, with a little help from regulars on his ministerial blog. ‘Go Green Day’ aims to raise awareness as well as sharing information on the environment and global warming, between key public figures and the MTV Flux community.

Other stars to have their say on ‘Go Green Day’ include Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Killa Kela, Liz McClarnon, Maximo Park, New Young Pony Club and ex Sugababe, Siobhan Donaghy.
