NBC have ordered an extra six episodes for Chuck’s season 3.
The network had already ordered 13 episodes of the new season. The Wrap report that this number has been increased to 19 this month.
Industry insiders believe that the show will return before March and to it’s old 8 p.m. Monday timeslot.

NBC has handed a full-season order to medical drama Mercy, Community and returning show Parks & Recreation.
“We are very pleased with the critical and audience reaction to our wonderful new comedy Community,” said NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad. “The cast and producers are delivering a first-rate, quality show that is very promising as the newest of NBC’s first-rate Thursday night comedies.”

ITV has sold Prime Suspect to US TV network, NBC.
Reports suggest that the network will develop the project with Without A Trace creator Hank Steinberg.
“We want to carefully choose a couple of iconic titles this year to reinvent, and our intention is to create another classic television show from this brilliant original format,” said NBC’s Angela Bromsta.

House creator David Shore is planning to remake the hit ’70s TV show ‘The Rockford Files’.
The original series centred around James Garner who played ex-convict private investigator Jim Rockford.
Shore told Variety: “It’s one of the shows that made me want to become a writer. I had no interest in adapting any old stuff, but this was the one exception.”

As fans of ER will know, tonight is the very last time we’ll be entering the doors of County and the last time we’ll get to share in the drama, romance, death, life and everything inbetween of the staff and patients in Chicago’s most famous fictional hospital.

Debra Messing aka Grace from Will and Grace has alnded a role in a new comedy show for American TV network NBC.
The show has yet to be given a title, but Messing will star as a CEO who loses her job and is forced to become a stay at home wife and mother. Meanwhile, the husband has job which pays less than her which causes obvious problems.
The only issue I have with this is that I find it hard to see Debra as anyone but Grace. She has been in numerous movies and shows since starring tin the comedy, but I just can’t move on!

US TV network, NBC has ordered a pilot of Parenthood based on the popular Steve Martin movie.
“Friday Night Lights” creator Jason Katims wrote the adaptation and will executive produce alongside Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard
This is the second attempt to bring the movie classic to the TV screen after a sitcom version starring Leonardo DiCaprio only lasted 12 episodes.
