Neil Morrissey has found himself in millions of pounds worth of debt, after a property scheme he invested in went wrong.

The Men Behaving Badly star had bought pubs and restaurants all over the country but the company over stretched itself, leaving Morrissey in debt and his partner bankrupt.

Neil Morrissey has decided to quit TV after 25 years in the business.

The actor, best known for his role in Men Behaving Badly says that the job is “more pain than fun” these days.

“Acting has been good to me,” he told The Mirror. “But a lot of what I do now is nothing more than factory television, more pain than fun.
