Well maybe she isn’t the worst mum ever, but I’m sure Nigella Lawson’s kids weren’t too happy when they were told they had to give all their Christmas presents to charity!
The celebrity chef told Red that Mimi, 14, and Bruno, 12, were only allowed to chose one gift to keep.
She said: “I don’t want to turn Christmas into a thing about shopping. One year, I was incredibly nasty and strict, and made the children choose a present that they wanted to keep and take the rest to Great Ormond Street. I wanted them to think about how lucky they are.”

Fans of cookery goddess Nigella Lawson have been complaining about the chefs weight gain during her new series, Nigella Express.
Fans have been visiting the BBC’s Points of View website to complain about Lawsons expanding hips and calorific recipes.
One poster is quoted in the Daily Mail as writing: “There’s no beating about the bush - she’s a porker. And no wonder, when she was shovelling those candies down her neck the other night - before she got to her destination for dinner. What sort of an example is she with her weight and her appetite for high-calorie sweets and cream?”
I have come to the conclusion that some people haven’t got enough going on in their lives. People will complain to the high heaven about size zero models, and yet when a truly beautiful woman like Nigella Lawson puts on a few pounds they are up in arms. Get a life people, worry about your own weight and leave healthy, attractive women like Nigella Lawson alone.
