Noel Fielding has been axed from BBC’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks after stories of drug use emerged in the weekend tabloids.

The Mighty Boosh comic was rumoured to have been appointed as team captain after guesting on the last series of the show. However The Sun reports that the BBC have axed him after Fielding admitted to taking cocaine, ecstasy, acid and magic mushrooms in an interview with the News of the World yesterday.

Comedian and TV presenter Vic Reeves has revealed that he and Mighty Boosh star, Noel Fielding, are considering collaborating on a new art based TV show.

Vic is said to have appraoched Channel 4 about a show titled ‘Vic and Noel Go Painting.’

Reeves told The Sun: “We’re both art school boys and wanted to do something arty. We want to paint people.” Read more & comment »
