Mischa Barton has launched her own personal website so she can set the record straight on stories that have been published about her in the media.

The former OC actress said “all kinds of crap” is written about her and she wants to put her side of the story across.

She said in a video message on the site: “I just think there’s all kinds of misconceptions on the internet these days and I really think that the internet can be used for good and for bad and there’s all kinds of crap that’s written about me.

OC actress Mischa Barton has revealed that her experiences on the hit teen drama, would put her off working on a TV show in the near future.

She said: “You don’t have any creative control and you’re at the mercy of what everybody else wants. You work terribly long hours and a difficult schedule. Sometimes, we would shoot two episodes at once. The only other show to do that was [Beverly Hills] 90210.”

O.C actor Tate Donovan has blasted the younger actors from the show and spoke about how hard they were to work with on set.

Tate, who played Jimmy Cooper in the show, revealed that Mischa Barton, Benjamin McKenzie, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody were at their most difficult during the show’s final two seasons.

I think they all wanted movie careers and did not want to be on a television show,” he told The Canadian Press. “All four of them were, like, ‘This show is ruining my career.”‘ Read more & comment »
