Dubbed Octomom, recidivist mother Nadya Suleman has attracted controversy for years, and has been a hate figure for many who claim she’s given birth to so many children for no other reason than to use them as an income and to make herself famous.

Whether that’s the case of not, I guess only she knows the truth, however in recent years, she’s seen the offers of TV work dry up, and with them, her income.

She’s been evicted from the house she shared with her children, and has starred in a porn film to “make ends meet.”

And today, the Daily Mail reports that she is now performing as a stripper and a pole dancer in a seedy club in Miami, where during one routine, she drinks from a baby’s bottle… Read more & comment »

Nadya Suleman, who was of course dubbed ‘Octomom’ after giving birth to eight babies following controversial infertility treatment, has appeared in a porn film for which she posed in front of a washing line full of baby clothes.

However, of the movie, which is entitled ‘Octomom: Home Alone’ Suleman claimed it could not be considered ‘porn’ as, “the only flesh I am touching is my own.”

Oh my god…

Suleman was of course once the darling of reality TV shows in the States, and was a regular on the chat show circuit, however, she’s also been the subject of hatred from people who consider her nothing more than a fame-hungry attention seeker who brought eight children into the world as “money making machines…” Read more & comment »

Oh my… 14 kids and 8 of them delivered all at once. Nadya Suleman might’ve been better in a box under the stairs than in hospital, but I think even more weird than her being the – much vilified – mother to 14 kids, and nary a dad in sight, is that she’s turning her kids’ lives into a real life Truman Show.

And I’m not sure how to feel about that; on the one hand, at least she’s found a way to support her children, but on the other, it didn’t turn out to be the best thing in the world for Truman to be the subject of a lifetime TV series. And it must be a developmental psychologist’s wet dream of a programme.

Unlike Truman though, Nadya’s older children are fully aware that their lives are being played out in front of a TV audience, and some of them really don’t like it. Channel 4 is to air a documentary about the American mother of octuplets, Nadya Suleman.

The show will run with title ‘Octomom’ – and will follow Suleman as she parents 14 children under the age of eight.

Channel 4′s Liam Humphries said of the commissioning: “Octomum is one of the most controversial and compelling tales of recent times.
