Rav Wilding saved by Brooke Kinsella and Martin Kemp on 71 Degrees North
It’s been reported today that Crimewatch star Rav Wilding faced certain death after he plunged into a crevasse in the Arctic Circle, and was only saved by the quick thinking of fellow competitor Brooke Kinsella.
The Sun reports that the drama began when Rav slipped and could have fallen 30ft had Brooke and fellow former EastEnders Martin Kemp not grabbed hold of him and dragged him to safety.
All three were of course filming for ITV show, 71 Degrees North, and Martin told This Morning viewers, “He [Rav] was lying on his back, and there was me and Brooke Kinsella…
“So we are pulling Rav out of this hole that goes down like 20, 30 feet.”
You can see all the drama of that when the new series, which is hosted by Paddy McGuinness and Charlotte Jackson, starts on Tuesday. Read more & comment »
