Coronation Street’s Ken Barlow has had more than his fair share of women over the years – as has Bill Roache who plays him apparently – but most of his affairs have ended soon after they began, and he always ends up back with Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride).

However, in 1989, Ken’s affair with Wendy Crozier (Roberta Kerr) who worked at the Town Hall, ended his marriage to Deirdre and they divorced so that he could start a new life with Wendy.
