Daniel Radcliffe has retained his place as the most affluent British star under the age of 30 according to the definitive entertainment rich list.
The Harry Potter actor, 22, topped heat magazine’s 30 Under 30 Rich List with estimated earnings of £51.7m, an increase of £6.1m on last year.
Penn Badgley has reportedly beaten Robert Pattinson to the role of Jeff Buckley in a new biopic.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ star has been cast ahead of the ‘Twilight’ hunk and also James Franco to play the late iconic musician.
Producers wanted an actor who could play the guitar and sing to portray Buckley and although Pattinson can do both, Badgley is believed to have got the nod because his voice sounds more similar to the ‘Hallelujah’ singer.

Robert Pattinson has admitted that it would be “terrifying” if he stopped winning MTV’s Best Kiss Award.
The ‘Twilight’ actor has won the MTV Movie accolade for two years in a row for his onscreen kiss with real life girlfriend Kristen Stewart in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ and is hoping that he can land the award for the third time later this year.
When asked what the secret of his success has been, he told MTV News: “I don’t know. I mean – I thought I won it three times?! Did I win it three? It’s kind of terrifying if you suddenly stop winning it, you’re like, ‘Oh God!’.

Robert Pattinson has admitted that he struggles to trust people, now that he is a huge movie star.
The 24 year old actor – who is best known as vampire Edward Cullen in the series of Twilight movies – confessed that he misses meeting people people and making new friends, becvause since he shot to fame he keeps his inner circle very small.
In an interview with Germany’s Gala magazine, he said: “I miss meeting new people. It sounds weird to say that as an actor, but I’m talking about really getting to know someone. The ‘Water for Elephants’ actor loved his early career when he had more time to relax and indulge in his favourite leisurely pursuits.
He said: “My ideal job would be one day a week. When I first started acting, I’d get one job a year that lasted three months and then I’d do nothing the rest of the time but I’d have enough money to survive.

Twilight is a big metaphor for sexual abstinence, and yet it’s erotic underneath. There are so many elements in the story which are sexy,” Pattinson told The Daily Telegraph.
