Actress Roxanne Pallett has revealed all about her decision to leave ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale.
Roxanne has played Jo Sugden for three years and has taken the character from a sassy flirt to a victim of domestic violence very convincingly. Jo says she is grateful to Emmerdale bosses for giving her the chance to shine and prove her worth as an actress.
Roxanne told The Daily Star: “I’ve really grown as a person and as an actress, but I know I’ve much further to go and I feel excited for the next chapter now, whatever that may be.
“I didn’t decide to leave for any particular reason other than it felt right.

Emmerdale star, Roxanne Pallett has revealed how she recently got changed for an awards ceremony in a public toilet.
The actress was running late for the Cosmopolitan Women Of The Year Awards and decided to use the loos on a train to get ready.
“It was so embarrassing. I was in there for hours getting dressed and glammed up. Luckily, I remembered to bring everything with me, including my accessories and underwear,” she told the Daily Star.

Emmerdale actress, Roxanne Pallett, has quit the soap after three years.
A source told The Sun: “Roxanne wanted to leave last year but the producers put her at the centre of this big storyline, which is only going to get more harrowing.
“Now she has agreed her leaving terms and will go in a huge exit in December.”
Series producer Anita Turner added: “Roxanne has given a fantastic performance and it will be an eventful six months for Jo.” Read more & comment »

Emmerdale actress, Roxanne Pallett has been speking about her new single status, after she broke up with former Coronation Street star, Richard Fleeshman.
The pair first met almost two years ago on ITV’s Soapstar Superstar TV show, and despite the age gap, quickly became an item.
Roxanne told Celebs On Sunday: “Life’s good right now. For every storm, there’s a rainbow.
“I’m enjoying the single life, and I’m really enjoying focusing on work and putting myself first again.”
