Coronation Street is planning an Easter episode this year, to be filmed partly in London.

The special will be an hour long, and centres around Sean (Anthony Cotton) visiting his son Dylan.

For the first time in thirty years there will be no Baldwins in Coronation Street, what a travesty!

Rupert Hill – who plays Jamie Baldwin – has announced that he plans to quit the show later this year and move on to pastures new.

A source from the show has told The News Of The World that Rupert is getting fed up with all the media attention showered upon him as one of the hunkiest soapstars about.

“Rupert loves being on the telly but not the constant stress of being in the public eye,” a source told the paper.
