Russell Brand is said to be busy making a new show for Channel 4 with Princess Eugenie.
The show is said to be along the lines of ‘Upstairs Downstairs’, where Russell and the Princess will examine pastimes that are often classed as upper or lower class.
“Russell and Eugenie are set to front a new Upstairs, Downstairs programme,” an insider told the Daily Star.
“Each episode will see them experience activities or places that are perceived as either high or low culture, but it’s going to be quite fun. For example, Eugenie can take Russ to the polo and he can take her to the dogs. It won’t be any kind of social indictment, just a proper giggle.”

TV comedian Russell Brand has spoken out today about the cast of his upcoming autobiographical movie, My Booky Wook.
In an interview with The Mirror, Russell revealed that at first he wanted Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe to play him, but then realised:
“I thought he wouldn’t be able to take all the drink. Or the drugs or fraternising with women. So I thought I should do it.”
Oasis star, Noel Gallagher is reportedly in talks to play a “seedy homosexual”.
Brand said: “[Noel] will be a sexually androgynous, amorphous character - it’ll be mad. I was speaking to him about it yesterday, and hopefully it’ll be great.”

Russell Brand has announced that he may challenge Ken Livingstone’s bid for Mayor of London, if enough people sign his online petition.
Russell would be running for Mayor as the new leader of the “The Brand Spanking New London Party”.
The party’s manifesto claims that they will replace cash with “wonders” and “gasps”. There would be 100 gasps to the wonder.
Brand commented: “I’m not standing unless I can win.”
Russell would get my vote for sure, if I lived in London of course! I have signed the petition….now it’s your turn!

Russell Brand, the UK’s most talked-about comic, returns to Channel 4 for the next six nights to contemplate the world around him. Russell delves into an eclectic mix of topics including love, childhood and holidays. Supported by archive footage and his own reminiscences, Russell will act as guide as he discusses seemingly generic topics, makes phone calls to unsuspecting targets and introduces specially shot segments. In the first episode of the series, Russell draws on his own personal experiences to discuss the complexities of childhood, its innocence, confusion and fear.
Russell Brand will be returning to Channel 4 to front a stand up comedy series.
Russell, who left E4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth earlier this year, will be covering topics such as love, politics and probably his winkie!
A source said: “It’s quite experimental.”
