Sam Trammell has promised fans that he will be more prominent in future episodes of the show and assured them that his character Sam Merlotte will be interacting mores with other people on the show.

Speaking to Zap2It, Trammell admitted that his family reunion led him on a solo arc for the first two episodes of the show. Fans loved his love scene with Bill (Stephen Moyer) because it drew him back into the centre of the vampire drama and Trammell promised that there is more of that to come.

Sam Trammell has admitted that he quite enjoyed the recent filming of a love scene dream sequence with Stephen Moyer.

The star plays shape-shifter Sam Merlotte on the show and told Chelsea Handler that he wasn’t at all worried about filming Sam and Bill’s ‘little gay love scene.’

True Blood actor Sam Trammell has revealed that before he decided upon acting as a career, he wanted to be a physicist.

Sam, who attended the prestigious Brown University, eventually dropped out.

He told Reuters that he left the university because he, “Wanted to stop thinking.”

He added, “I wink when I say that. You have to be smart to be a good actor.

True Blood actor Sam Trammell has been dropping some hints about upcoming storylines in True Blood season three.

Speaking to SFX, Trammell revealed that his character Sam Merlotte will go to seek out his shape shifting family. He said:

“A lot of people know he’s a shape-shifter now, like Andy, Jason and Sookie. He’s slowly getting revealed and the more he gets revealed, the chains that have been binding him – as far as trying to keep who he is secret goes – are slowly breaking.”
