Those of you paying attention will have notice that there was no Scott and Bailey on last week. To compensate for this, ITV are giving us a double bill that starts tonight and concludes tomorrow. Last time we saw our favourite female coppers, Janet was just about to burst in on Rachel and Kevin who were in throws of passion. However this doesn’t last very long, as Janet’s presence sort of puts a spanner in the works.

Since this third series of Scott and Bailey began, I have been critical of the way it has jumped forwards and backwards in time. Thankfully this third episode is the first to stay in the present day as the pair’s personal issues are combined with a fairly in-depth murder investigation.

Recent Walford escapee, Nicola Stapleton, has revealed that she wouldn’t rule out a return to EastEnders!
Stapleton, who played Mandy Salter in the BBC soap, left our screens this week after she left her fiancée, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) on the day of their wedding, after a brief spell back in the soap that she originally starred in the 90′s.

Former Eastenders star Sean Maguire has apologised for his short lived pop career.
Maguire released two albums in the nineties and was a constant on the whole Smash Hits scene for a few years.
Maguire told Metro: “I feel bad for the people of Britain that I put them through it but I’m hoping, over time, they may forgive me.”
