The battle of the Friday night shows was won by ABC with Shark Tank finishing its season on top.

Both the penultimate episode and the finale of Shark Tank aired on Friday night, with the finale appealing to 6.57m viewers, and the penultimate episode entertaining 5m.

Last night, CBS’ Blue Bloods took the crown as the most watched show on a Friday night. Ratings were slightly down from previous nights, but we presume everyone has a social life in America!

A repeat of Supernatural took last place on the ratings table from last night with just 600,000 viewers, whilst Nikita didn’t do much better for The CW either with 1.09m viewers.

American network giants, ABC, have today announced the renewal of Dancing With The Stars, The Bachelor and Shark Tank, fans will be pleased to hear.

According to reports from Deadline, the three popular shows will be joining the slate of new season programming from the network, despite Dancing With The Stars reaching its lowest premier figures when its latest season, season 11, began in March, and its latests cycle going head to head with The Voice, with The Voice beating its rating figures significantly on several occasions.
