With less than a month before kick off at Old Trafford, Soccer Aid 2010 has signed a raft of global movie stars for its Rest of the World squad. Comic genius Mike Myers (Austin Powers, Wayne’s World), Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson (The People vs Larry Flint, Natural Born Killers, Zombieland, White Men Can’t Jump) and Australian born actor Simon Baker (The Mentalist, LA Confidential, The Devil Wears Prada) will all be joining the star-studded line up to help raise money for UNICEF.

Welsh movie star Michael Sheen (The Queen, Twilight: New Moon, Alice in Wonderland) is to captain the star-studded side which has recently signed up record-breaking solo artist and Boyzone member Ronan Keating, TV presenter Gethin Jones, former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, undefeated boxing champion Joe Calzaghe and actor James Kyson-Lee, who plays Ando inHeroes.
Soccer Aid 2010 is offering football fans a once in a lifetime chance to see one of the games’ all time greats Zinedine Zidane put his boots back on to take to the hallowed turf of Old Trafford.
The French footballing hero will return to Manchester for the first time since 2003 when Real Madrid dramatically knocked Manchester United out of the Champions League. Zidane will join Soccer Aid’s Rest of The World team alongside an impressive line up of legends and celebrities.
Robbie Williams has released the video above, in which he announces Soccer Aid 2010. In aid of Unicef, the sports challenge will also feature Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, Jonathan Wilks, James Corden, Patrick Kielty, Jamie Theakston, Jamie Redknapp Gordon Ramsay, Ricky Hatton, Patrick Kielty, Ben Shephard and Bradley Walsh.
Gavin and Stacey star James Corden has signed up for ITV’s Soccer Aid.
The comic actor will act as assistant manager as Robbie Williams, Gordon Ramsay, Ricky Hatton, Patrick Kielty, Ben Shephard, Bradley Walsh and members of Westlife take to the football pitch in a bid to raise money for Unicef.
