According to The Sun today, Sherlock and Parade’s End star Benedict Cumberbatch would love to voice a role on The Simpsons alongside his buddy Stephen Hawking.

The paper states, “The Sherlock actor has been pals with Hawking since playing him in a 2004 BBC drama. And he wants to work with him on the American series.”

The gorgeous Benedict told TV Biz, “I think if the Simpsons had anything to do with it, then Sherlock and Stephen Hawking would get on really well.

“Sherlock would probably talk a lot and Stephen would probably cut him down with one brilliant word.”

But on the subject of Sherlock, Benedict refused to reveal any spoilers, saying only, “We start filming the next series of Sherlock in January. I can’t say any more.” Read more & comment »
