EastEnders Spoilers: Michael Moon turns devious in his attempt to ensure Janine can’t get custody of baby Scarlett! (VIDEO)

EastEnders

Janine Moon has a lot of bridges to build in Walford if she’s intent on sticking around, and it seems she is since next week, we’ll see her reopening Butcher’s Joints and trying to get on top of goings on at R&R while all the while, plotting to get custody of her daughter Scarlett…

She of course left Scarlett with her dad Michael (Steve John Shepherd) last year, and though at first, Michael was fuming to be left literally holding the baby, since then, he’s grown into the role of single parent, and is now determined that Janine (Charlie Brooks) won’t simply waltz back into his life and get custody of their daughter.

However, wealthy Janine has plenty of cash to hire top lawyers to fight her custody battle for her, while Michael does not – and as we’ll see this week, he tries and fails to sell his share of the gym to raise money – but he does realise that he has a secret weapon in that Janine isn’t naturally the maternal sort… Read more & comment »

However, when asked for how she’d like to see him leave, Charlie Brooks, who of course plays Janine, said, “I would like Janine to destroy Michael! That’s what I want!”

The drama begins as he and Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) meet up at Michael’s to talk about Tommy once again, and when he opens the door to find Janine on the doorstep, he can only gape as a confident Janine waltzes in, evidently amused to see Kat sitting there.

EastEnders: Sooo, Michael Moon isn’t Kat’s lover – and actually, I’ve given up caring! Have you? (VIDEO)

In last night’s EastEnders, we discovered that Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) isn’t Kat Moon’s lover…

I had come to think he was after Ray Dixon (Chucky Venn) was ruled out, so I guess that leaves the main contender to be Max Branning (Jake Wood) who I’d previously thought was Mr X.

However, I have to say, I had thought the show’s bosses had promised us viewers that we’d learn the identity of Mr Lover Lover this week, but I guess I either got it wrong or they did.

But either way, I’m rather much at the point where I’ve stopped caring. I think this storyline has gone on way too long.

And though 7.5million of us tuned in to watch Kat’s confession to the long suffering Alfie (Shane Richie) I’m really not sure how much longer we viewers are prepared to continue to be intrigued by the storyline… Read more & comment »

EastEnders: The identity of Kat Moon’s lover to be revealed next week! It’s gotta be Michael Moon surely?! (VIDEO)

I have to say, EastEnders bosses have done an annoyingly good job of keeping the identity of Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) lover under wraps…

The whodunit – or the Who’s Still Doing It I should say – plotline began with five suspects, namely, all three Branning brothers, Max, Derek and Jack, as well as Michael Moon and Ray Dixon.

Ray (Chucky Venn) was eliminated a few weeks ago now, and while many fans of the show still reckon it’ll turn out to be Jack (Scott Maslen) after the whole ‘I Love You’ message written on a bandage, I became convinced it’d be Max (Jake Wood).

However, as Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) has been more than normally shifty of late, and as his wife Janine (Charlie Brooks) suspects he’s having an affair, he’s surely a good contender… Read more & comment »

EastEnders: Janine is set to test Michael Moon’s true feelings with a cash laden ultimatum! And see spoiler clip

In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders, we’re going to see that tired and stressed out new mum Janine Moon becomes increasingly suspicious about her husband Michael’s behaviour…

She already thinks he may be having an affair – and of course, he’s in the running to be Kat Moon’s mystery man – and of course, since he made her tear up their pre-nup on the day of their wedding, she’s long suspected he’s only hanging around for her money.

So, in an all or nothing decision, Janine (Charlie Brooks) presents Michael (Steve John Shepherd) with an ultimatum which boils down to, “It’s the cash or me…”

Not even giving him the option of phoning a friend, Janine will place a bag full of cash in front of Michael, and tell him that he can have all the money, but if he takes it, it’s the end of their marriage and the end of his contact with his daughter, Scarlett… Read more & comment »

EastEnders: Janine suspects Michael Moon is having an affair! Is he Kat Moon’s mystery man?!

The mystery of who is Kat Moon’s lover has of course been going on for a few weeks now, though of late, the storyline has taken something of a back seat amid the drama of Sharon’s return and the big Ben Mitchell murdered Heather reveal…

However, it’s set to feature fairly prominently again in upcoming episodes, and in tonight’s trip to Walford we’ll see that Janine (Charlie Brooks) begins to suspect that her husband Michael (Steve John Shepherd) is playing away.

But is it Kat (Jessie Wallace) that he’s playing with? Or is Janine’s paranoia just that and he is in fact not seeing anybody? Well, we won’t know for sure until the mystery lover is unmasked on September 14th…

However, tonight, when Tanya (Jo Joyner) sees that Janine looks harassed and tired, she takes her aside for a chat, and the ice queen façade that Janie normally wears melts as she confides some of her worries, including how difficult she’s finding it to be a mum… Read more & comment »

EastEnders star Steve John Shepherd says Janine should never trust Michael Moon

As fans of EastEnders will know, Michael Moon has recently become a husband and a father, and for a few moments there, it looked like he might just be about to turn over a new leaf…

He ‘fessed up to having scammed Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and didn’t do a runner when he had a wobbly moment over his new responsibilities.

However, according to Steve John Shepherd, who of course plays Michael villainously well, his character will never be the sort of man who can be trusted with anything, but most particularly, money, which of course his wife Janine (Charlie Brooks) has bucket loads of.

And as we’ll soon see, Michael hasn’t given up on the idea of reliving her of it!

Speaking to Soaplife about Michael and how fatherhood may, or should, change him, Steve explained that when his character visits little baby Patricia, he feels “helpless…” Read more & comment »
