Coronation Street Spoilers: Eileen Grimshaw’s new fella Paul is married!

Poor old Eileen Grimshaw is rarely lucky in love, and it seems her latest venture into the world of romance may also be destined to failure when she discovers her new boyfriend Paul is married.

As fans will know, Eileen – who’s played by Sue Cleaver – is smitten with fireman Paul Kershaw, but Tony Hirst, who plays the newcomer, insists there’s more to Paul’s situation than it first seems.

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver says Eileen’s new man could be her last chance at love

Corrie star Sue Cleaver, who plays unlucky in love Eileen Grimshaw, has revealed that her character believes her latest attempt at finding love – in the form of fireman Paul – could be her last.

Eileen turns 50 in next week’s episodes, and after getting her head stuck in railings at the factory, Paul (Tony Hirst) rescues her, and the pair strike up a relationship.

And Eileen begins to think that Paul could be the one for her, and if it turns out that he isn’t, she might give up on trying to find love.

Coronation Street: Eileen Grimshaw’s new man is hiding a “massive” secret

As fans of Corrie will most likely know, Eileen Grimshaw is about to meet the man of her dreams in the form of fireman Paul, but will the course of true love run smooth for Eileen?

Well, it seems not, since the Daily Mirror reports that Paul – who’s played by Tony Hirst – is hiding a “massive” secret from Eileen, who’s played by Sue Cleaver.

The paper adds that when his secret comes out, it will lead to “heart-rending and harrowing scenes”.

The insider added, “There will be an emotional rollercoaster for Eileen, Paul, and someone who is very close to him.

Sue Cleaver fears Coronation Street’s Eileen Grimshaw could have her heart broken!

Sue Cleaver, who of course plays Eileen Grimshaw on Corrie, fears that her character could be set for heart break as she falls for a hunky fireman.

In forthcoming episodes, we’ll see Eileen meeting fireman Paul – who’s played by former Hollyoaks star Tony Hirst – after he rescues her when her head becomes trapped in railings at the factory.

The pair develop a rapid romance, but will love last this time for Eileen, who’s had a string of failed relationships.

Corrie star Antony Cotton took to Twitter this morning to assure fans that Sue Cleaver is now fine after she reportedly collapsed on the set of the show yesterday.

Antony tweeted, “Just so you know – Sue Cleaver is fine now.

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver rushed to hospital after collapse

Corrie star Sue Cleaver reportedly had to be rushed to hospital yesterday after she collapsed while filming for the show.

Sue – who of course plays Eileen Grimshaw – apparently caused a panic among cast and crew when, after complaining of feeling unwell, she collapsed.

However, according to The Sun, Sue told paramedics that she thought she’s fainted as a result of her diabetes.

A show insider said, “Sue was looking pretty off at around 9am just as we were getting things ready for filming.

Corrie actress Sue Cleaver has revealed that she’d love to work alongside some of the Street’s most iconic characters.

Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver charged with drink driving

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver will appear in court next month after being charged with drink driving.

The 46 year old actress was reportedly stopped by police after her Landrover Freelander clipped a kerb in Manchester. She has been bailed to appear before Manchester magistrates on April 14.

Coronation Street: Sue Cleaver Glad To See Babies Go

Coronation Street actress, Sue Cleaver (AKA Eileen Grimshaw) has revelaed that she will be glad when the newborn babies playing her grandaughter Holly, leave the set.

She revealed to The Sun:

She told us: “We’ve had four babies all aged about eight months-old playing Holly and it’s been really hard work filming with them even though they were all gorgeous.

“I had to concentrate extra hard filming scenes with them. Holding a baby and saying lines at the same time isn’t easy. And when they started crying we had to do extra takes.”

This week will see Holly’s mum return and reveal that Jason is not actually Holly’s dad, in fact she was fathered by Charlie Stubbs…lucky girl!
