Hit US crime investigation series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, has been named the most watched show on the planet for a second year running.

And so it should, the CSI team have been entertaining us now for over 12 seasons, with each episode getting better and better!

Fans of CSI can all breathe a huge, synchronised sigh of relief, George Eads has signed a one year extension for his role as the deliciously delightful Nick Stokes in the HIT US drama, CSI.

The  new deal,  with CBS Television Studios, will see the popular actor remain in his role as one of the leads of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, for at least the next twelve months, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
