The PA today reports that Tyler Posey, star of MTV’s hit new show Teen Wolf, would love to invite Michael J Fox to cameo on the show.

19-year-old Tyler of course stars as teenaged wolf Scott McCall in the TV remake of the 80s film of the same name, which starred Michael.

Tyler said: “I would love Michael J Fox to come and do a cameo in season two.”

He added: “I’ll call him up personally. Because when I first got my lenses fitted for my eyes the doctor had a picture of Michael J Fox on the wall so I was like ‘Oh how ironic’.

“There’s my little six degrees of separation right there, so who knows.”

Tyler also revealed he’s now used to spending a lot of time in the make-up chair, but he confessed he’d been “freaked out” when having his werewolf contact lenses put in.

He said: “I spend about two and half hours in the make up chair but I’m really good friends with the make up artist so it’s just like hanging out with one of my friends when I’m in there. It’s not that gruelling… Read more & comment »

The star of Sky Living’s new show Teen Wolf, Tyler Hoechlin, reckons he has “no regrets” that he missed out on having a role in Twilight.

Speaking to the PA, 23 year old Tyler revealed that he made the shortlist for the part of vampire Edward Cullen, but he insists that it’s a good thing he didn’t land the role.

He said, “My family has told me for years that I would have to play a werewolf and it happened sooner than later.”

Tyler, who plays Derek Hale in Teen Wolf added, “[It] kind of feels like it was bound to happen, right?

“Twilight was a situation that I had an opportunity that didn’t go further, but no regrets, I’m happy to be a part of this now.

“I’m happy for all their success, hopefully we can follow in their footsteps.” Read more & comment »

MTV have announced that they intend to remake 80′s hit movie, ‘Teen Wolf.’

The Hollywood Reporter states:

The 1985 film starred Michael J. Fox as a teenager who discovers he is a werewolf. The MTV version will be set in high school, draw from the horror genre to explore werewolf mythology and include a romantic plot line.
