The BBC have ordered staff to look back over old episodes of the Teletubbies to make sure they don’t break any rules.

In their fear over another huge scandal, the TV channel are checking out episodes of all their old shows to ensure that standards are met, though it seems a little strange that they are putting such emphasis on one in which the characters can’t even speak!

Children’s TV programme, The Teletubbies may be banned from television in Poland after a government watchdog was told that it promoted homosexuality.

Apparently the fact that the purple teletubby, Tinky Winky, carries a handbag is enough to see the show banned. State-controlled public TV said the government’s Children’s Rights Spokesman believes the BBC show is “gay propaganda”.

I know the show is weird, and I am no big fan or anything….but gay propoganda….isn’t that a bit too strong!
