Desperate Housewives is coming to an end but it seems that Teri Hatcher isn’t going to take much of a break after the much loved series dies.
The former ‘Lois & Clark’ actress has been one of the central characters on DS, since its premiere on ABC on October 3, 2004 and she must have enjoyed her time there, as it has been confirmed that now she will be keeping her loyalty within the ABC network.
Teri Hatcher, star of the iconic Desperate Housewives series, has come out and said that the show finale “makes sense” to her and that she feels it will do the characters justice.
The hit American ABC show, which will air its final scene in the US in May, officially completed filming last week, and Hatcher spoke to US Magazine, People, commenting: ”I feel like [the series finale] does a pretty good job at honouring all the different characters and their sort of unique wheelhouses that they brought… to Desperate Housewives.

The 45 year old actress was working on the set of Desperate Housewives, where she and her co-stars are currently filming season seven of the show, when she was snapped looking pretty risqué in a pink and black basque and killer high heeled shoes.
Teri Hatcher has praised the uniqueness of Desperate Housewives and spoke of her pride at its continued success.
Speaking as she posed for the season six photoshoot, Hatcher said:
“Desperate Housewives is a very unique and special show in that blending of drama and comedy. It isn’t an all-out comedy and it isn’t the level of drama of, say, The Sopranos or something.
New shots have emerged from the set of Desperate Housewives and in them both Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) and Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) are seen all trussed up in wedding attire.
Last season ended with a shot of Mike getting married but it was unclear whether the bride was ex wife Susan or fiancé Katherine. Seems like the DH bosses are playing this one close to their chest. Maybe the Grey’s team should take note.
Teri Hatcher has revealed how she made a scrapbook of all the memorable moments from Desperate Housewives for her departing co-star Nicollette Sheridan.
Hatcher told Us Weekly: “She will definitely be missed. I think she is irreplaceable, but I do think that a neighbourhood, kind of like an ER, is a place where people rotate through.
“There are so many great actors and so many storylines imaginable that there has to be a way to fill and surprise the audience with something new.”
US TV network ABC has confirmed to Extra that Desperate Housewives stars Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria Parker will share an on-screen kiss in an upcoming episode.
ABC also hinted that Hatcher shares a kiss with another female cast member in an episode set to air next month.
Teri admitted that she enjoyed the snog, but credited Eva as having done all the work.

Susan has to skip out on romantic night in with her new husband Mike, to go resuce her daughter Julie from a high school party.
However, when she enters the room still dressed in her lingerie, the randy teenagers mistake her for the evenings entertainment and expect Susan to launch into an erotic dance….boy will they be disappointed!
I just can’t wait until we get the new series in the UK……..why do we always have to wait so long?
