Oh what a downer… Abby left ER last night but at least we got to see Luca, if only for a few seconds.

I was all weepy after last night’s episode in which Abby finally said goodbye to County General after a decade of doing her superwoman best to save lives and be the all round good egg she is/was.

It was a great send off for her even if it was on the down-low; normally, ER farewells involve a fair amount of retrospectives and soppy melancholic “See ya” moments but this was a clean cut. Only a small crew gathered by a waiting ambulance to wave Abby off to the distant shores of Boston where she and Luca – oh god he’s fit – are to start a new life… Read more & comment »
