The Fixer Returns For Series Two

ITV1 have announced that the critically acclaimed series The Fixer will return for a second series in 2009, as state-sponsored hit-man John Mercer continues his work on the dark side of the law.

John Mercer (Andrew Buchan) is ex-Special Forces serving a double life sentence for the murder of his aunt and uncle. It was a crime he committed out of revenge for the years of physical abuse his sister Jess (Liz White) suffered at their hands. Released from prison unexpectedly early, John is introduced to the shadowy Lenny Jameson (Peter Mullan), a police officer retired on grounds of “ill health,” he quickly learns that his freedom comes at a price.
