Ed Byrne Faces the Final Forfeit in Last in Series of BBC One’s The Magicians

The sixth and final episode of BBC One’s The Magicians, which peaked at over six million viewers throughout the series, aired on Saturday, 11th February with a show stopping finale.

The grand final of the second series of the hit magic show hosted by Darren McMullen, saw World Champion of Magic and American illusionist Latimer, joined by street dancer and actor, George Sampson. In their live studio magic the pair delighted with a new take on George’s ‘Dancing in the Rain’ routine. Latimer and George took turns to shape water into solid balls and flowers before the dancer took to the stage and showed off his incredible skills under a shower of rain, conjured up by Latimer.

Joe Swash is King of the Magic in Finale of BBC’s The Magicians

I’m A Celebrity star Joe Swash was a big hit on last night’s final episode of BBC One’s The Magicians.

The grand final of the second series of the hit magic show hosted by Darren McMullen, saw Middlesbrough funny man Pete Firman, who bravely faced the forfeit last week, paired with actor, presenter and King of the Jungle, Joe Swash.

Got To Dance’s Kimberley Wyatt levitates during BBC’s The Magicians

The third episode of BBC One’s The Magicians aired on Saturday, 21st January, with another spectacular show.

Presented by Darren McMullen, the third of six episodes saw World Champion of Magic, Latimer, paired with the Got To Dance judge and former Pussycat Doll, Kimberly Wyatt.

The Magicians returns to BBC One

The hugely popular hit show The Magicians returns to BBC One in the New Year, with a show-stopping live new format, a dazzling new host and an astonishing line-up of magicians.

Following last year’s ratings success of over six million viewers, the 2012 series will be extended to six 75-minute programmes which will transmit live – which will see the first time a magic series has been transmitted live on the BBC in over 30 years.

Lenny Henry to front ‘The Magicians’ on BBC One

Lenny Henry has been revealed as the new host of a celebrity magic show on BBC One.

The TV comic will present ‘The Magicians’, which will see three professional magicians teach three celebrities – including include Chris Tarrant, Rolf Harris and hip-hop group N-Dubz – a string of tricks each week in front of a studio audience.

Magicians lined up to appear in the primetime Saturday night show include US star Chris Korn – who has performed for Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin and Adam Sandler – master illusionist Luis de Mators and British duo Barry and Stuart.
