Thomas Dekker has revealed that The Sarah Connor Chronicles may be made into a movie.
Dekker played John Connor on the cancelled Terminator series and said that there is talk of filming a movie centered around the shows cast and characters.
He told TVAddict.com: “They’ve spoken about doing a TV movie. Well, not a TV movie, but kind of like a direct-to-DVD movie.”
You may have thought you had seen the last of Summer Glau after The Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled but Joss Whedon has revealed that he has plans for her.
Summer played Cameron on SCC and before that starred in sci-fi drama Firefly, staying true to her sci-fi roots she is now being lined up for a role in Whedon’s newest show, Dollhouse.
Whedon told Entertainment Weekly:
“If anybody thinks [bringing Summer onto Dollhouse] hasn’t occurred to me already then they have not met me,” he says. “I mentioned it to her before [SCC] was canceled. I was like, ‘You know, we should get you in the ‘house.’ But first we have to come up with something that works.” And casting her as a doll would not work, insists Whedon. “Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she’s done that [type of role] a lot,” he says. “I’d rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who’s good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, ‘I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age.’”
For all you Sarah Connor Chronicles fans, and we know there are many amongst you, you will be thrilled to find out that from today you can watch the online premiere of the first episode of the new series on Virgin 1’s website.
For those who would rather watch the show the more conventional way, the series two kicks off on Thursday night, Virgin 1 at 9pm.

Rumours recently broke out that US TV netorok, Fox, was to axe The Sarah Connor Chronicles before it even finished its second season, but that has been rubbished today as news emerged that FOX has picked up the final nine episodes of the series.
The sci-fi series has performed relatively well on Monday nights this autumn. Its most recent episode was seen by 5.7 million viewers. Fox’s overall ratings tend to significantly increase as the year progresses due to the huge ratings garnered by “American Idol.” Network executives may believe the drama’s audience will grow once the reality TV show hits the air.
Rumours are emerging that US TV netork, Fox is planning to axe sci-fi drama, The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
“Audiences just aren’t responding to the show,” a Fox source told website SyFy Portal about Sarah Connor. “Our biggest surprise is the 18-to-49s [demographic] – those numbers are in the toilet.”
The insider added that Fox is seriously considering axing the show before it even finishes it’s second season.

Former Garbage singer, Shirley Manson, has revealed that she has well and truly caught the acting bug after filming for her new role in the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
“I don’t think once you’ve been in a successful band you can ever truly shed that image,” she told Access Hollywood. “But I would also love to do more acting and I see no reason why I can’t. I know that there are a lot of criticisms whenever a musician steps into acting and whenever an actor steps into music and I understand where that comes from. Read more & comment »
Former Garbage singer, Shirley Manson has revealed that she took inspiration from Glenn Close and Margaret Thatcher for her new role on the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
“I thought a lot about Glenn Close in Damages because I thought she’s very threatening,” the Scottish star told Access Hollywood.
“She’s very powerful in that television show and her performance is incredible. And I think it’s rare when you see a woman on screen, where you truly believe she is capable [of committing] unworldly deeds, and also, for some inexplicable reason, I also thought of Margaret Thatcher.” Read more & comment »

Summer Glau has been chatting about the upcoming season two of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and has revealed some of the tricks she uses in order to make her seem less human.
Summer plays Cameron Phillips, a terminator sent from the year 2027 to protect John Connor and his mother, Sarah Connor.
In order to play the part believably, Summer tries not to blink, flick her hair or display any other human like traits or habits. She admits that it is a role she plays from her head and not her heart.
In the back of my head I have always known that Lena Headey of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an English actress. Yet when I came across this interview with her about the second season of the show I was initially taken aback by the British accent.

American TV blog, The TV Guide has claimed that The Sarah Connor Chronicles has managed to land a second series. Yey!!!

“One bag. Plus guns. I’ll make pancakes.” That’s the order from commitment phobic Sarah Connor to her son, ultimate saviour of the human race, when she gets spooked by a marriage proposal from her boyfriend and decides to clear out of town.
That she can say ‘pack the guns’ and ‘I’ll make pancakes’ in the same statement shows how much protecting John Connor from the terminators has become her entire life.
Even after moving to a new town, it isn’t long before a terminator known as Cromartie manages to track John down at his new school. Cromartie is even intelligent enough to pose as a substitute teacher. He takes a roll call while slicing open his leg to reveal a concealed gun (inconvenient, since he just took a load of papers out of a briefcase). He’s even programmed for witty one-liners – making sure to say “Class dismissed” before jumping out the window in pursuit of John. Ah well, it’s better than “I’ll be back”, and who wouldn’t want the human race to be wiped out by wisecracking cyborgs?
Thankfully, future John Connor had the good sense to send back the sexiest Terminatrix in the history of the franchise – Cameron. Yes, even hotter than Kristiana Loken. Unlike her musclebound predecessor, this cy-babe (yes, I invented that word) doesn’t have to peel off her skin to prove her inner robot – she simply lets her eyes pulse with an electric blue colour. Comes in handy when the Connors pay a visit to Myles Dyson’s wife.
