Corrie actors Ryan Thomas and Tina O’Brien – who played on-screen husband and wife – have split up after what the Sunday People describes as “a series of bitter rows.”
According to the paper’s report, Tina left the couple’s home with their one-year-old daughter Scarlett last week and sources close to the couple reckon she “has no plans to return.”
One of those sources told the paper, “They can’t stand the sight of each other. There’s not much hope of them getting back together.

Tina O’Brien has admitted that she finds it strange to watch romantic moments between her real life boyfriend and his co-star, Michelle Keegan.
Ryan Thomas, whose character Jason Grimshaw is Tina McIntyre (played by Michelle Keegan) in the soap.
Asked if she gets jealous seeing them together, Tina told MSN: “I definitely don’t get jealous if they’re kissing – that doesn’t really bother me at all – it’s not the nicest thing in the world but I’m certainly not jealous about it.”

Former Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien has said that she won’t be rushing back to the ITV soap.
Earlier this summer reports suggested that Tina would be making a big Christmas comeback. However Tina has insisted that she is happy staying at home with her daughter Scarlett for the minute.
She told Hot TV magazine: “I’m lucky the door’s been left open but never say never. For eight years I worked without a break and I’m not saying having a baby is easy but I want to cherish every moment of it.”

Tina O’Brien is reported to be returning to Coronation Street after finding that no one wanted to hire her after she left.
Tina was written out of the ITV soap two years ago to allow her to concentrate on other acting projects. All she was offered was a role in a Christmas panto.
The News Of The World have reported that Tina’s character Sarah will return from Italy as part fo an ‘explosive’ plot this Christmas.

New mum and ex-Corrie actress Tina O’Brien has told Now magazine that she’s given up booze now that she’s a mum and that she’s finding her new role as a mother “exhausting”.
Tina told the magazine how baby Scarlett, who’s now eight months old, has changed her life and that of her hubby Ryan Thomas who was also her on-screen husband Jason Grimshaw.

n her first role since Coronation Street, Tina O’Brien is to appear in the new series of ITV’s Blue Murder. Tina will guest starring as Amy Kirkland, the girlfriend of a murdered rock star, who becomes a prime suspect for DCI Janine Lewis played by Caroline Quentin.
Titled ‘This Charming Man’, the episode is one of a series of six commissioned by ITV, produced by Mike Dormer and currently being filmed on location in Manchester. Janine’s team come face to face with the seedy late night antics of the music world, its stars, their egos, managers and hangers on.
