John Barrowman has hinted that he may return to Doctor Who for this year’s TV specials.
The actor plays Captain Jack Harkness on spinoff show Torchwood and has made several appearances alongside the Doctor on the main show.
When asked if he would be back for David Tennant’s final episodes, Barrowman told Metro: “I’ll put it this way – Captain Jack will always return to the side of The Doctor when he needs assistance.”
John Barrowman has revealed that this month, he has turned down major TV roles in both House and Grey’s Anatomy.
The Torchwood star told thelondonpaper that his appearance in the West End production of La Cage Aux Folles, meant that he was forced to turn down both parts.
Barrowman said: “I’m going to be completely honest. Over the last two weeks, I have been offered Grey’s Anatomy, a major part. I’ve been offered a major part in House.
Radio One DJ Scott Mills has described John Barrowman as a ’sex pest’. Why am I not surprised?
Mills said that Barrowman flirted shamelessly with him during a recent interview, even rubbing legs with him in front of his elderly parents.
“We played him the Torchwood theme tune, and he started singing along with his own words, which were, ‘Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger’, and I was like, ‘No, John!’
