Emmerdale: Linda Thorson Scared By Stunt

Emmerdale actress, Linda Thorson, has admitted that she suffered from vertigo and dizziness while filming a recent stunt on set.

Linda, who plays Rosemary King, took a dramatic fall over a bannister this week and she told The Sun just how difficult she found the ordeal.

She said:

Emmerdale: Marlon Dingle To Be Shot

Emmerdale’s dopey Marlon Dingle is to be shot this week by his brother Eli.

According to the ITV soaps website, the incident takes place after Marlon has a big win on a dog race but the bookie refuses to pay out. Marlon and Eli take matters into their own hands and decide to setal the money, but it all goes wrong when Eli accidentally shoots Marlon and he ends up lying in a pool of blood.

As police rush to the crime scene Eli has a decision to make. He must either sacrifice his freedom or leave his brother to die at the shop.

Emmerdale: New Love For Matthew King?

There may be love on the horizon for Emmerdale’s Matthew King, as Sharon Lambert sets out to find her next conquest.

After her mother Val ruined her wedding, Sharon is on the lookout for a new rich man and her attentions may just turn to Matthew, the most eligible bachelor in the dales.

Actress Victoria Hawkins, who plays Sharon, told ITV soaps: “If she was looking for someone rich then it would have to be one of the Kings.” Read more & comment »

Emmerdale: Sammy Winward Likes To Pole Dance!

Sammy Winward has just won another legion of male fans! She admitted this week that she likes to pole dance to keep fit.

Sammy, who plays Katie Sugden in Emmerdale told The Sun: “I haven’t had any lessons yet but I’ve taught myself a lot of moves, I can’t do the upside-down stuff but I can do all the spins – it really helps firm up different parts of my body.”

Winward added that feeling confident about her appearance is very important to her.

“I’m always walking around my house naked – I’ll walk around with no clothes on in front of my sister and my mum,” she said. “I feel happy with myself and that’s very important.”

Who Killed Tom King? Find Out Next Thursday!

It’s going to be far from quiet in the country on Thursday 17 May when Tom King’s murderer is finally unmasked in an explosive hour-long episode.

The most anticipated soap whodunit ever will reach its climax as the net closes in on Tom’s sons Jimmy (Nick Miles), Matthew (Matt Healy) and Carl (Tom Lister). Emmerdale: Eli and Debbie Dingle Get It On!

Romance is in the air as Eli and Debbie Dingle get together for yet another scam.

The pair decide to buy the garage but after failing to raise the asking price, Eli poses as Scott and appraches the bank for a loan.

Once she see’s Eli all cleaned up and dressed in a suit, Debbie just can’t resist!

Charley Webb (who plays Dennie) told ITV Soaps: “Debbie kisses Eli. Then they end up sleeping together.”

However, Debbie later realises that she still has feelings for Scott and must let Eli down gently.

“They’d had a bit of a drink and it just happened. She tells him in the morning that she’s not up for it.”

“He takes it quite well. But he’s disappointed deep down. He just shrugs it off and says, ‘Oh, it was just a bit of fun’…”

She adds:

“It might happen again. It depends on how long Scott’s away and what else is going on in Debbie’s life.”

Emmerdale: Jo Stiles and Katie Sugden…Catfight!

Yet another catfight is to break out in Emmerdale next week as part of their hour long, who killed Tom King special.

Jo discovers Katie has stolen her costume and the beauty pageant quickly descends into chaos as the two rivals slug it out in front of the village.

Shock death In Emmerdale

There will be a shock death in Emmerdale this month as one of the characters meets an untimely end on the same day that Tom King’s murderer is revealed.

An ‘Emmerdale’ spokesperson told ITV Soaps: “The episode in which Tom King’s killer is revealed is our most explosive yet.”

“Not only will soap’s biggest ever murder hunt reach it’s climax, but there’ll also be a shock fatality.”

Emmerdale: Paula Wilcox Joins The Cast

There’s a new face in the Dales this week as actress Paula Wilcox joins the cast of Emmerdale playing the part of Hilary Potts, Laurels mum.

One of Paulas first scenes was a car crash, so understandably her first few scenes don’t contain much dialogue.

Actor Tony Booth, father of the UK’s first lady, Cherie Blair, is to appear in Emmerdale next week.

Tony will be playing the part of a vagrant named Errol, and his first scenes will be on the 8th of May with Bob Hope.

Emmerdale: Matthew Wolfenden Talks About Steamy Scenes

Emmerdale actor, Matthew Wolfenden, has revealed that many of his recent scenes with Sammy Winward have ended up on the cutting room floor because they were so steamy.

Matthew, better known as David Metcalfe, revealed to the Daily Star Sunday:

“We really went for it. The scenes were the steamiest I’ve ever done,” Matthew told the Daily Star Sunday. “We were both quite nervous as they wanted them to be steamy. So we just had to go for it.

“But there were issues about what was allowed to go out at 7pm – so some of the steamier bits had to be cut.”

Emmerdale: Ben Freeman Will Face Rape Charges

Emmerdale actor Ben Freeman appeared in a Barbados court yesterday in a bid to get the rape charges that are being brought against him dropped.

His lawyers claimed that there is not enough evidence to support a trial, it would seem however that the judge disagreed and the charges will be upheld.

Ben, who is better known as Emmerdale’s Scott Windsor, will now have to face his 16 year old, alledged victim, in court.
