Victoria Beckham To Join Ugly Betty

Not happy with a Spice Girls reunion or her own reality Tv show, now Victoria Beckham has decided to join the cast of hit US sitcom, Ugly Betty.

Actor Eric Mabius, 36 — who plays Ugly Betty boss Daniel Mode — said: “Victoria is keen and so are we. We can see her fitting in as a cameo.”

Ugly Betty: A Musical Episode?

Actress, America Ferrera and the rest of the cast of hit drama Ugly Betty have admitted to begging the producers of the show to make an all singing, all musical episode.

America revealed: “We’ve been begging for a musical episode since episode one.”

Well it seems as though their suggestions have been taken on board as executive producer Marco Pennette confirmed, “We’re working on it.”

If it’s half as good as the musical version of Scrubs we are in for a treat!

Channel 4 May Cut Desperate Housewives And Ugly Betty

Due to the slump in its annual profits, Channel 4 have announced that they are considering cutting all imported American programmes such as Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.

Director of programmes Kevin Lygo said:

“My preference will be to cut acquired programming. That would certainly be the first place we cut before we cut domestic commissioning.”

That would be a shame. I only watch Channel 4 for the American shows and Big Brother. I can’t imagine that losing their biggest shows would help their profits any!

Ugly Betty: In or Out

While Daniel is still suffering from his break-up with Sofia, Betty is doing her best to get him back into work and over Sofia. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina decides who will continue to work at Mode once her ambitions to be named Editor-in-Chief are realised.
