Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria has said that she will really miss her co-star Nicollette Sheridan when she leaves the hit US TV show.
Sheridan announced that she would be leaving the show where she plays Edie Britt at the end of the current season.
“I love her so much as a person, and I love the character of Edie Britt, that I can’t imagine the show without her,” Eva told Extra.
US TV network, NBC, has picked up “Knight Rider” for a full season.
After decent ratings for its first string of episodes the network has ordered another nine episodes of the show, which is produced by it’s sister division Universal Media Studios.
Knight Rider’s most recent episode was seen by 6.9 million viewers.
Singer, KT Tunstall gave an impromptu performance for the striking US writers this week, in a car park where they were protesting.
Tunstall had been due to appear on the Jay Leno show, but the show was cancelled due to the ongoing strike of the Writers Guild Of America.
The cynic in me wonders if she really felt for the writers or if this was just a very clever publicity stunt……I’m jaded….I know.
Victoria Beckham has reportedly been signed up to host popular US TV chat show, The View.
Victoria will carry out a two week trial, bosses have been looking for a new host since comedienne Rosie O’Donnell left earlier this year.
A source told The Daily Star: “Victoria is hardly a bimbo and she has the added appeal of having already rubbed a lot of American women up the wrong way, so sparks are guaranteed to fly.
“There’s no doubt she’s going to add a lot of pizzazz to the show.”
