Vanessa Williams has claimed that she isn’t ready for Ugly Betty to end and blames the TV networks for moving the show in their schedules.

The actress, who plays Wilhemina Slater, told The Sun: “We’re devastated. We’re not ready for it to end.”

She added: “We just got on a roll. But they switched nights – people couldn’t find us.”

Ugly Betty actress, Vanessa Williams has defended starlet, Lindsay Lohan who was reported to have been axed from two epsiodes of the show.

The New York Post stated that Lohan had been lined up to appear in six episodes of Ugly Betty’s new series, but after she was difficult on set and didn’t get on with lead actress America Ferrera her stint was cut down to four shows.

“I had a few scenes with Lindsay,” MSN quote Vanessa as saying. “She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and in the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared. In terms of me working with Lindsay, she was professional, she knew her lines and she was great with me.”
