Gillian Anderson has revealed that she was almost fired when she fell pregnant after the first series of X Files.
The actress, who played FBI agent Dana Scully in the hit show, thinks it was only the dynamics between her and agent Mulder (David Duchovny) that saved her role.
“They would have loved to have punished me but realised there was steam picking up. I thought they were overreacting but now I see it from their perspective,” WENN quotes her as saying.
One of this summer’s biggest movies is bound to be the newest X Files movie, ‘I Want To Believe’. It will be amazing to see Mulder and Scully back on the big screen……what would be really great would be if the TV show returned as well.
So here’s the official trailer for the movie. There hasn’t been much information leaked about the storyline etc, but I bet there are aliens involved!

Hollywood stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are said to be pleading with producers of the upcoming X Files movie to remove a love scenes from the script.
The pair played FBI special agents Mulder and Scully in the phenomenally popular nineties TV show and part of their appeal was the constant sexual tension they shared.
A source told the Daily Express: “There was one draft of the script where Mulder and Scully have a bedroom scene but it looks like that has been put on hold. Read more & comment »
