Take That fans were left in tears last night, after organisers announced that their Denmark concert would have to be cancelled because Robbie Williams had taken sick.

The ‘Angels’ singer contracted food poisoning and after receiving medical treatment, was still too ill to perform at the gig.

The concert – at Copenhagen’s Parken ­stadium – was therefore cancelled at the last possible minute, on the off chance that Williams’ condition would improve, and a spokesman said: ­

“Despite several visits from doctors, Robbie’s condition worsened and he was unable to do the concert, which he and the band very much regret.

“Unfortunately it has not been possible to find a ­replacement date.”

Take That are scheduled to perform in Amsterdam ­tomorrow night, let’s hope Robbie is well enough to sing!
