Channel 4 bosses are reportedly considering Gordon Ramsay’s wife Tana for a co-hosting role on his next cookery TV show.

Tana is currently having her individual profile boosted by appearing on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, whilst Gordon is seeing the ratings of shows like The F Word declining. Channel 4 bosses feel that Tana’s presence on Gordon’s next project may add a fresh spark to proceedings.

A source told the Daily Star: “Tana is going to see her profile get a huge boost by being in Dancing On Ice. She’ll soon become a name in her own right.

“In the past Tana has appeared on shows with Gordon and even had her own cookbooks, but she has never really escaped his shadow. This new idea would see the pair of them as equals on screen – something that has got Channel 4 executives very excited.”
