Since launching her new album ‘1989’, which is the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Red’, Taylor Swift has enjoyed an incredible amount of success, especially with the singles that she’s released from it so far.
‘Shake It Off’ was the first single to be lifted from Taylor’s new album, but it’s the second single, ‘Blank Space’, that is giving her a lot of chart success right now.
This week, it has been confirmed by Billboard that ‘Blank Space’ is still at the top of the US singles chart, marking its fourth week at the summit.
The publication have also confirmed that the popular track has shifted 254,000 downloads in just one week.
Meanwhile, close behind Swift, it’s been confirmed that Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ has climbed from third place into second on the chart. So can Taylor hold on to No1 for a fifth week?
That of course remains to be seen, but meanwhile, Taylor has been talking to chat show host Barbara Walters this week – as part of her ’10 Most Fascinating People of 2014′ – and during the interview, Taylor spoke about her love life, which always seems to be making headlines.
The beauty confessed that while the rumour mill is currently working in overdrive, she is very much single and hasn’t got any time at all to devote to dating.
She said: “I don’t see a scenario right now, the way my life is, in which it [a romance] could work. So I don’t think about it because I don’t like to think about things that I can’t solve.
“I think all the time about big concepts in my life [but] I don’t have answers for everything, and that doesn’t scare me.”
The full interview is scheduled to air in the USA on Sunday the 15th of December at 9pm. Times may vary though so check local listings.
