Teri Hatcher: “Desperate Housewives is a very unique and special show”

Teri Hatcher has praised the uniqueness of Desperate Housewives and spoke of her pride at its continued success.
Speaking as she posed for the season six photoshoot, Hatcher said:
“Desperate Housewives is a very unique and special show in that blending of drama and comedy. It isn’t an all-out comedy and it isn’t the level of drama of, say, The Sopranos or something.
“In its special way – that I’m proud of – Marc Cherry has created a kind of unique genre and I think it gives the fans something to look forward to and be surprised by every week. Some episodes lean a little more comedic; some lean a little more dramatic, and I think that’s what makes it fresh and fun – that you don’t really know what you’re gonna expect.”
She concluded: “It’s gonna be something new every week.”
