Terry Wogan To Take Richard And Judy Slot?
As Richard and Judy plan their move to UKTV, Channel 4 are trying to find a presenter to take their teatime slot.
Richard Hammond had previously been suggested, but The Daily Mail has today reported that Terry Wogan is the front runner for the role.
The paper quotes a source close to the negotiations as saying: “Terry has the right style and warmth for daytime television.”
“He is a natural entertainer who doesn’t need too much help from an autocue. He is the frontrunner to take over the slot from Richard and Judy.”
