The premiere of That Antony Cotton Show on ITV this week, managed to beat Channel 4 rivals Richard and Judy in the ratings battle.

That Antony Cotton Show pulled in an average audience of 2m, compared to 1.1m for his Channel 4 rivals.

One in the eye for the married bickering pair!

    Even more, one in the eye for the spiteful people who were queueing up to dis the programme before it was even recorded, let alone broadcast!
    It’s early days yet…
    I’m not really into chat shows; not daytime ones anyway.
    Not all of it worked, (the nerves showed) but I think Antony was really good interacting with guests and the audience.
    He’s no coward; not everyone would be brave enough to take such a risk (look at Davina and Bradley!)
    And a lot better than the charmless Jonathan Ross
