Louisa Lytton appears in her first epsiode of The Bill, recruited to play PC Beth Green, on tonight.
Swapping her Strictly Come Dancing glitz and glamour outfits for a pair of sensible shoes and the Met Police uniform, Louisa is excited about the new challenges she is facing as an ‘officer’ at Sun Hill.
“It will be so different to how I’ve been spending my last few months at teh end of last year in dance training. I’ve been fitted for my new uniform and am excited about getting out on the beat,” says Louisa.
Her character, PC Green, is a hapless romantic who operates from the heart rather than the head. But her naturally inquisitive nature and eye for detail mean that she’s always on the ball and make her a good copper.
“We’re delighted to welcome Louisa to the show,” said executive producer, Johnathan Young. “We’ve got such fantastic storylines to kickstart 2007, and it’s great to be working with new actors.
“The character Louisa will play is going to be well-liked and fun - a great addition to Sun Hill.”
