The Blacklist: First Day on the Job trailer released – Raymond Reddington targets Elizabeth Keen
A brand new trailer for the forthcoming season of The Blacklist has been unveiled.
The show is set to kick off later this month on NBC and it follows ex-government agent Raymond Reddington who has been one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives for decades. However, it’s going to be a challenging first day on the job for Elizabeth Keen.
Elizabeth Keen, played by Megan Boone, is an FBI profiler and it’s her first day on the job when Raymond Reddington turns himself over to the authorities.
Reddington says he will help to catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under one condition… that he deals only with the new girl, Elizabeth Keen.
In the promo video that has been released, we get to see a clip of Keens first day on the job. She wakes and gets ready to leave the house, but as she does she’s met agents outside of her house and a helicopter circulating the area.
She’s told: “Agent Keen, I need you to come with me right away”.
It’s then that we get to meet Reddington and he tells the FBI: “I speak only with Elizabeth Keen”.
“Do you find it odd that Redington surrendered himself the day you started working as a profiler?” Keen is asked.
She explains: “It suggests he was waiting for me. He thinks I can be easily manipulated. The man obviously doesn’t know me very well”.
In another scene we see a lorry slamming into a car that Keen is in, but she manages to get out alive.
The Blacklist is one of our top 10 new shows to watch out for in the 2013/14 season. It kicks off on September 23 at 10/9c on NBC.
