The great and good of the soap world all gathered in London on Saturday night for The British Soap Awards 2012 and Eastenders has once again come out on top and been announced as the nation’s favourite soap! It was also a big night for Coronation Street who walked away with the biggest haul of gongs including Best Actress and Best Exit. Emmerdale also had a decent night picking up 3 awards including Best Actor and Best Storyline whilst  Hollyoaks and Doctors were sadly left empty handed.
