The British Soap Awards 2012: Unreality TV meets the stars of Hollyoaks on the red carpet!
On Saturday night, London was choc full of our favourite soap stars, as the annual British Soap Awards ceremony kicked off at ITV Studios.
Because we love bringing you all the latest news, gossip and spoiler, Unreality TV braved the wind and rain to meet the famous faces on the red carpet and catch a few words with the actors, before the even kicked off.
All the stars of Hollyoaks looked their usual, fabulous and gorgeous selves, whilst strutting their stuff down the press surrounded walkway.
The gorgeous Stephanie Davis and Jonny Clark (Sinead O’Connor and Bart McQueen) stopped to say hi and to send their thanks to Unreality TV readers for all your support. The pair also revealed that they are headed for a huge storyline, which will leave you on the edges of your seats.
Nominated for Best Actor, Emmett J Scanalan (Brendan Brady) looked very much the business, in a dapper suit complete with trouser braces, as he walked down the red carpet with Neil Newbon (Walker). The gorgeous Lucy Dixon (Tilly Evans) wowed the crowds in a strapless, floor length Nadine’s Merabi dress, and was radiating loveliness and sunshine on the otherwise wet and miserable day, even stopping to record a message for a three year old fan!
Keiron Richardson and PJ Brennan (Ste and Doug) had some juicy gossip for Hollyoaks fans, when asked about the future of their ‘business’ relationship, they let slip that their characters are indeed going to embark on more than friendship, and that it was their intention to make summer in Chester very hot indeed!
Finally, we met up with beautiful Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes Fisher) who looked stunning in a blue Lizzie Agnew dress and admitted she was no longer ice skating after her time at Dancing On Ice and teased that the future is set to get brighter for Mercedes with regards to baby Bobby and Riley (Rob Norbury), before turning very dark again indeed!
The British Soap Awards will air on ITV1 this Wednesday, 8pm on ITV1. We will have the list of winners online from midnight tonight, so check back if you can’t wait until the show is broadcast.
