This week the queen of the talk show, Dame Edna Everage, continues to administer her course of treatments to her celebrity guests.

Emmy Award-winning actor Alan Alda will be joining Dame Edna on the treatment couch this week. Most famous for his role as Hawkeye Pierce in the cult television series ‘M*A*S*H’, Alan has more recently appereared in shows such as ‘The West Wing’ and ‘ER’.

Also making an appearance this week is Boris Johnson, British Conservative Party politician and journalist. Often making headlines himself Boris is known for his distinctively eccentric public persona.

Providing the music for the evening is multi-platinum selling pop singer and songwriter, Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Singing her new single ‘Me and My Imagination’ Sophie will also take to the stage with Dame Edna for a rendition of ‘Fame’.

Valmai, Dame Edna’s light fingered daughter will be on hand to assist as only she knows how! Australian Cultural Attache Sir Les Patterson will also be on hand with his own brand of ‘lifestyle’ advice.

Dame Edna’s inimitable interviewing style has made her a household name across the globe and viewers will be treated to a unique glimpse into her luxurious life. Renowned for her stylish and exceptional dress sense, Dame Edna has a colossal new wardrobe for the series and will bring a touch of antipodean glamour to Saturday evenings.
