This week the queen of the talk show, Dame Edna Everage, continues to administer her course of treatments to her celebrity guests.

Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon will be joining Dame Edna on the treatment couch this week. Famous for her roles in movies such as Thelma and Louise, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Alfie, Susan won her Academy Award in 1996 for the movie Dead Man Walking.

Also making an appearance on the stage this week is Dame Shirley Bassey, best known for her unequalled three James Bond themes - Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker, Dame Shirley has been thrilling fans for an astonishing five decades in the music industry. The two Dames will be singing a rendition of the classic ‘Hey Big Spender’.

Valmai, Dame Edna’s light fingered daughter will be on hand to assist as only she knows how! Australian Cultural Attache Sir Les Patterson will also be on hand with his own brand of ‘lifestyle’ advice.

Dame Edna’s inimitable interviewing style has made her a household name across the globe and viewers will be treated to a unique glimpse into her luxurious life. Renowned for her stylish and exceptional dress sense, Dame Edna has a colossal new wardrobe for the series and will bring a touch of antipodean glamour to Saturday evenings.
