ITV1’s award-winning and flagship daytime show This Morning is back for a new series from Monday 5th September. Hosts PHILLIP SCHOFIELD and HOLLY WILLOUGHBY return to host the live two hour programme Monday–Thursday, while husband and wife duo and current summer hosts EAMONN HOLMES and RUTH LANGSFORD will return to their Friday slot.

Holly’s return will be her first day back at work following the birth of second child – daughter Belle – in April.

Holly said, “I cannot wait to get back to the This Morning studio – I am ready and raring to go! It has been wonderful becoming a mum again and spending time with my family but I’m really looking forward to being back on the sofa with Phillip and seeing the team again.”

Co-host Phillip said, “Jenni [Falconer] was fantastic to work with, but it will be great to be re-united with Holly. I’m really looking forward to getting back to This Morning and presenting another great series – I’ve really missed the team while I’ve been away for summer!”

Karl Newton, Executive Producer of This Morning said, “I can’t wait to get started with this new series and to welcome Holly back. I’m really excited about the A-list guests and news exclusives we have as well as lots of new Hub ideas to engage the viewers.”

The new series will continue to fuse live topical discussion and celebrity chat with lifestyle features together with a host of new items and mini-series. This Morning’s BAFTA-nominated interactive Hub will be hosted by COLEEN NOLAN, STEPHEN MULHERN and MATT JOHNSON, while ALISON HAMMOND will be on hand to bring all the latest showbiz news and Hollywood interviews and GLORIA HUNNIFORD will report from Ground Zero in New York for the tenth anniversary of 9/11 to meet and re-unite victims’ families and survivors.

Fashion and cookery remain a key part of the show with stylists BRIX SMITH-START and FAYE SAWYER who will provide viewers with all they need to know on latest trends and hot catwalk looks, while LOUIE SPENCE will help men and their long suffering partners in a new male grooming and makeover slot. Resident chef PHIL VICKERY will host Meals on Wheels to surprise a deserving group of workmates with a special lunch via his mobile kitchen, and Phil’s Island Hop will see him travel across different British Islands to teach viewers about local ingredients and how to prepare traditional dishes. Phil, together with GINO D’ACAMPO and other guest chefs will continue to cook live in the studio each week.

DR CHRIS STEELE MBE will be explaining and testing a variety of medical television firsts in This Morning Saves My Life including live laser surgery on skin cancer and a mass testicular screening. Fresh from his award-winning design at the Chelsea Flower show, garden expert DIARMUID GAVIN will let viewers have a sneak peak at celebrity gardens including Sir Cliff Richard, Kim Wilde and Lesley Joseph in How Does Your Garden Grow.

Soap expert SHARON MARSHALL will host a five week series Soaps Leading Ladies where she’ll go down memory lane with a mix of matriarchs, the walking wounded, the doomed and most desperate female soap characters the nation love, and the finalists of This Morning’s nationwide Super Sweet competition battle it out to see if their homemade desserts are tasty enough to be stocked in the aisles of leading grocer Tesco. Chef GIZZI ERSKINE will be one of the tough judges contestants will need to impress!

Interior designer ALISON CORK believes everyone has the right to live in a beautiful home no matter the budget and will work her magic in a new miniseries aimed to help viewers achieve impressive looks for less, whilst Agony Aunt DENISE ROBERTSON MBE continues to advise viewers with their problems and dilemmas.

This Morning is live each weekday at 10.30am, Saturdays 11.45, Sundays 11.30 on ITV1. Visit for more details.
